Emeriti Evening
Former BYU athletic director Glen C. Tuckett (MS ’62) will speak at the fourth annual Evening with Friends in the St. George Tabernacle Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m., during the Huntsman World Senior Games. The free event, sponsored by the St. George BYU emeriti organization, will also feature the Southern Utah Heritage Choir. “We invite athletes, alumni, and friends,” says Elaine Facer Davis (BA ’65), a member of the BYU Emeriti Alumni Association board. “This has become a lovely and well-received Sunday-evening event during the games.”
Parents Weekend
Parents of current BYU students are invited to share the BYU experience with their students during Parents Weekend, Oct. 22–24. The program is filled with activities that range from athletic events and cultural-arts offerings to family runs and hikes.
Former Officers Reunion
The BYU Former Student Officers Society will meet for its seventh annual reunion Oct. 8 during Homecoming 2010. All former ASBYU and BYUSA presidents, vice presidents, and officers are invited to attend the reception, dinner, and fireside with their families.
