Lightening the Y

A comic; the first panel reads "Meanwhile, at a BYU research lab . . . " and shows a woman in a lab coat and glasses standing next to a machine. The scientist says, "We've constructed this state-of-the-art computer using complex algorithms to calculate BYU's "cool factor."" In the next panel, Cosmo is dancing on the football field. The scientist continues speaking, saying "We see it at its highest levels when the dance routines from Cosmo and the Cougarettes are unleashed on social media and go viral." The third panel shows a different scientist looking panicked while sitting at a computer. He says, "On no! . . . Something's wrong! We're currently experiencing a dramatic drop in "coolness"!" The fourth and final panel shows two scientists dancing and another scientist filming them. The scientist from the first panel stands by them with her arms folded saying "Sayers! Rogers! Martin! I won't tell you again! Leave the viral dance videos to the experts!"
