Replenishment Grant Recipients Chosen

The BYU Alumni Association Replenishment Grant program is based on the same principles of voluntary replenishment that inspired the Perpetual Emigration Fund in 1849. Just as the early pioneers who received financial aid elected to later replenish the fund, so too should alumni scholars who receive aid from this perpetual education fund provide assistance to those coming after them. Although there is no legal obligation to contribute, grant recipients have a moral obligation, after graduation, to help other students by contributing an amount equal to or greater than the amount they received.

Below is a list of the 1996—97 Alumni Association Replenishment Grant recipients.
