On May 4 BYU’s Emeriti Association will present an Education Day with sessions about the work of a DNA genealogy specialist, the world of Islam, and the impact of the Olympics on the state of Utah and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Speaking will be Dale Bills, from the public affairs office for the Church of Jesus Christ, and BYU professors Scott R. Woodward and Daniel C. Peterson, ’77.
Education Day is an annual event designed to expose BYU emeriti and others to the work of university professors. The event, open to the public, will begin at 9 a.m. in the Varsity Theater. One-on-one Internet training at the BYU library is an added feature this year. The cost of the event, which also includes lunch, is $12.50.
