IN October, during the college’s 50th anniversary celebration entitled “Learning the Healer’s Art,” Intermountain Health Care announced a donation of $50,000 to help BYU‘s educational efforts in nursing.
“Every year we must turn away twice as many students as are accepted into our nursing program, and I am hopeful this new funding will help provide opportunities to our students and increase enrollment in the future,” said Elaine Marshall, ’72, dean of the BYU College of Nursing.
