On a BYU Alumni Association tour in May, a guide leads Kristen Abbot Kleinman (’94) and Nathan L. Kleinman (BS ’92) of Wyoming through the jungle in Roatan, Honduras (right). The jungle excursion was part of a seven-day cruise to Mexico, Honduras, and Belize.
A highlight of the tour was visiting the Mayan ruins in Tulum, where a guide pointed out possible connections to the Book of Mormon. The trip was part of an alumni program dedicated to making friends and connections. Other trips have included Church history tours in the Palmyra, Kirtland and Nauvoo/Independence areas, combined tours to all the Church history sites, trips to Alaska, and big band cruises.
