BYU alumna and former KSL anchor/reporter Jane Clayson has landed a coveted position as the co-host who sits alongside Bryant Gumbel on CBS television’s new Early Show. The show, which made its debut Nov. 1, is the network’s latest attempt to challenge NBC’s morning giant, Today.
After her 1990 graduation Clayson accepted a position at KSL and stayed until 1996, when she left to work as a correspondent for ABC in Los Angeles. While at KSL, Clayson won a regional Emmy for a report from China about Utah doctors assisting children with disabilities.
