Religion has always been an important aspect of BYU’s educational experience. Now BYU has a web site, sponsored by the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, which lists quotes from several sources concerning the relationship of religion and various academic subjects. The site is called the Education for Eternity Collection and was developed by Jane Birch, who was working at the Faculty Center at the time. The page is divided into three categories, listing hundreds of quotes and talks from General Authorities, BYU presidents, and many other sources. The categories cover general literature about religious education, a list of fields of study with quotes relating them to religion, and biographies and case studies of those who have spoken about the correlation between religion and education.
