Former BYU football star Chad W. Lewis (BA ’77) will speak at the fifth-annual St. George Evening with Friends Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. in the St. George Tabernacle. Sponsored by BYU emeriti in St. George, the event is free and open to the public.
Lewis played tight end in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles and the St. Louis Rams. He helped the Rams win Super Bowl XXXIV in 1999 and caught the game-clinching touchdown pass for the Eagles in the 2005 National Football Conference Championship Game.
Now the associate athletic director for development at BYU, Lewis is the author of Surround Yourself with Greatness, which is in its fifth printing.
