Roof of the Student Athletic Center

The concrete and steel of the student Athlete Center are temporarily fostered by snow as the rapid pace of construction continues.

ATHLETICS

Construction crews placed the final steel beam on the new Student Athlete Center on Feb. 13. In just three and a half weeks, crews erected 550 tons of steel. The new facility is on schedule for completion in November 2003.

FOOTBALL

Bronco C. Mendenhall is the new defensive coordinator for the Cougars, filling the vacancy left by the retirement of Kenneth R. Schmidt, ’82. 

R. Todd Bradford has been hired as receiver coach for the Cougars, filling the vacancy left by Mike J. Borich.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Junior Aleisha M. Cramer-Rose, ’04, was named to the NSCAA/Adidas All-America team for the 2002 season, the third-straight year she has received an All-America honor. 

Soccer Buzz Magazine also selected junior midfielder Cramer-Rose to receive All-America honors, selecting her to the third team after she led BYU and the conference with 12 assists. 

Brooke Bowman, ’06, also received All-America honors, being named to the Freshman All-America Third Team.
