Homecoming Reunions October 27 & 28, 1995

Plans include the Homecoming parade, football game, Spectacular, and campus tours.

Class of 1955, 40-Year Anniversary

Join with your classmates for Homecoming festivities, plus a celebration dinner and program. Bring along your memorabilia and share the excitement with friends and family.

Chemistry Department—Two Reunions and a New Building!

The dedication of the new Ezra Taft Benson Science Building is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 20, at 11 A.M. All chemistry alumni are invited to attend the dedication and participate in activities including a lecture by Jerome Karle, Nobel Prize winner, on Thursday, Oct. 19; a banquet and program; special building and campus tours; department history presentations; a football game; and a theater performance. The faculty will join with graduates in celebrating a new era for the sciences. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event—don’t miss it!

The celebration will continue the following weekend during Homecoming. More tours of the building and campus are scheduled, along with the department history presentation. Join us for the parade and football game, Homecoming barbecue, Spectacular, and a meal function where graduates can mingle with faculty and friends.

Young Ambassadors to Celebrate 25th Year

Plans include a banquet with international cuisine and exciting entertainment, Homecoming festivities, and a special fireside on Sunday, Oct. 29.

Recreation Management & Youth Leadership—Festival of Fun

Games and activities with legend Alma Heaton are planned for alumni and their families beginning at 10 A.M. prior to the Homecoming football game on the north end of Helaman Field just south of the stadium. Plan to come early and enjoy the activities at the “Festival of Fun.”

Alumni Band

The BYU Alumni Band will hold a dinner on Friday evening for participants and their families. Information on the reunion and weekend events will be mailed. Anyone interested in joining the alumni group may contact the current director, Mike Benedict, at (801) 375-4217 or send in the reunion information form. The band will perform in the Homecoming parade and before and during the game as well as at many events throughout the year.

ROTC, Arnold Air Society, and Angel Flight

A dinner with reminiscing and reacquainting is being planned for the Friday evening of Homecoming week.
