Plans for New Athletic Complex

BYU Athletic Complex

This view of the new BYU athletic complex from the east shows both phases I and II.

Fund-raising is underway for BYU’s proposed athletic complex. Phase I of the structure is an indoor practice area 140 yards long and 70 yards wide. Teams using the facility, which will be located immediately west of the football practice fields and the Smith Fieldhouse, will include football, soccer, baseball, softball, and golf. After funds are in place and final approval obtained from the board of trustees, construction of phase I will take approximately a year.

Phase II will include an athletic hall of fame, offices, a student athlete academic center, a strength and conditioning center, locker rooms, equipment areas, and a nutrition area.
