To increase alumni at BYU—Hawaii, Keith B. and Carol Richins Jenkins, both ’60, are providing a $1 million matching gift. In addition to boosting donations across the board, the Jenkinses and President Eric B. Shumway, ’64, have set a goal of raising enough money for one new scholarship for each BYU—Hawaii alumni chapter.
Under the plan the Jenkins fund will contribute $2,500 to each chapter that recruits 100 donors of any amount; 100 additional donors will bring another $2,500 matching contribution. The fund will also match donations from faculty, staff, students, and alumni of BYU—Hawaii.
