AN estimated 850 students received BYU Finals Survival Kits from parents and friends wishing them luck on finals at the end of fall semester 2001. The $30 kits included a T-shirt, treats, and a stress ball, delivered to students’ apartments with a note of encouragement. A few people donated kits to less fortunate students.
The Student Alumni Association has provided the kits since 1985 as a chance for parents to encourage students facing the stress of finals. Finals Survival Kits are distributed each fall semester.
