From Budapest to Kiev, BYU’s International Folk Dance Ensemble took to the world stage for three weeks in spring 2008. Here the colorfully garbed dancers perform in Plsen, Czech Republic, as part of a celebration commemorating the American liberation of the city from German military occupation in World War II. Nearly 1,000 spectators gathered in the town square to catch a glimpse of the hour-long outdoor performance, including some who were there when the town was liberated in May 1945.
