A New Name for Giving

The name of LDS Foundation has been changed to LDS Philanthropies. LDS Philanthropies facilitates voluntary philanthropic contributions to the Church and its related institutions.

Great School, Less Debt

BYU is ranked 71st in U.S. News & World Report’s survey of “America’s Best Colleges.” The Marriott School of Management’s undergraduate program ranked among the top 50 in “Best Business Programs” coming in at 35th. Last year, BYU was ranked 74th in the “Best National Universities” category.
This year the university is also listed as 22nd in the “Great Schools, Great Prices” category. Additionally, it is listed as 13th in the category of “Least Debt,” which compares the average debt carried by departing graduates.

New Associate VP Announced

Brent W. Webb (BS ’81) is BYU’s new associate academic vice president for research and graduate studies, replacing Gary R. Hooper, who will take a leave of absence during the upcoming academic year before retiring from the university.
