Beginning fall semester 2007, the deadline for payment of tuition and fees will be seven calendar days prior to the first day of class. Currently, the deadline is the second day of class.

BYUTV Goes Global
BYU Television International, a new programming service from BYU Broadcasting, was launched March 2 to serve audiences throughout Central and South America, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, and the United States. At launch the service had carriage commitments from 90 cable operators throughout Central and South America.
Derek A. Marquis (BA ’88) was named the new managing director of BYU Broadcasting in February.

A New Home For Giving
A lightly used parking lot at 1500 North University Avenue in Provo is making way for a new building to house LDS Philanthropies, the fund-raising arm of the Church of Jesus Christ. The three-story building is expected to be completed in spring 2008.

New BYUSA Leaders
After receiving 52 more votes than their opponents in March’s student election, Summer V. Price (’08) and Devon R. Glassman (’08) became president and executive vice president of BYUSA.
