Near a school in Salkantay, Peru, BYU student David L. Sharrah (’11) combines breath and soap, with iridescent results, evoking a smile from a young local. With a handful of BYU and other university student volunteers, Sharrah spent more than two months working construction and assisting teachers at a school supported by the humanitarian group Eagle Condor. This photo received an honorable mention award in the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies’ 10th annual photo contest.
