So much for learning curves. Former BYU standout receiver Austin K. Collie (’08) made the transition from college to pro football look easy. On the receiving end of Pro-Bowler Peyton Manning’s passes, Collie led all NFL rookies in 2009–10 in receiving touchdowns (seven) and tied for first in rookie receptions (60). His breakout season hit a high point in the AFC Championship game, where Collie caught seven passes (including the 46-yard grab pictured here) for one TD and 123 yards, en route to a 30-17 victory over the New York Jets and a trip to the Super Bowl.
