Ancient Roman Plates
March 2007–March 2008 | Harold B. Lee Library Atrium
After marching in Roman conquests for some 25 years, foot soldier Marcus Herennius Polymita retired from the military. It was A.D. 109 and the Roman Empire was in the age of the Five Good Emperors. To honor his service, Herennius received two bronze plates, engraved with a decree granting him Roman citizenship. Nearly 2,000 years later, those plates are on display in the library.

From the blanket-toting Linus to the egocentric Snoopy, the entire cast of quirky characters star in this family-friendly tale of unrequited love.

Rivalry Weekends

The biggest action in Cougar baseball and softball is yet to come. Catch a BYU baseball triple-header at Miller Park against the University of Utah on May 17, 18, and 19, just before the Cougars head into the Mountain West Conference Tournament. The lady Cougars face the Utes at home April 27 and 28. Don’t forget the hot dogs.
