BYU’S student-produced Daily News was named the best student TV newscast in the nation by the Broadcast Education Association (BEA), which selected the BYU broadcast from a pool of more than 500 entries. BYU took home other top BEA honors as well, tying for best news team, sweeping the top three news anchor awards, and winning a best-of-festival award.
