On Feb. 16, junior center Trent Plaisted finishes an alley-oop dunk in front of a season-high crowd of more than 22,000 faithful BYU fans. The team in white eventually won the contest, 74-48, ousting the Rebels from the top spot in the conference. The Cougs never looked back, eventually winning the MWC title and posting BYU’s first-ever 25-win regular season. The men’s team hasn’t lost in the Marriott Center since November 2005—their 47 wins stand as the nation’s longest active home streak.
