Jerusalem Center Closure
BYU cancelled its summer and fall 2001 programs at the BYU Jerusalem Center.
“With tensions in the Middle East remaining high, we determined it was best to cancel all of our programs through the end of this year,” said J. R. Kearl, ’69, assistant to the president for the Jerusalem Center.
The nearly 500 students who were registered to participate in the program this year were notified and invited to reapply.
New Exhibit
A turn-of-the-century collection of Fremont and Anasazi artifacts is now on display at the Museum of Peoples and Cultures.
The new exhibition, “In Search of Relics: The Pectol-Lee Collection of Capitol Reef,” can be seen at 700 N. 100 E. in Provo. The museum is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
