Football
Steve P. Kaufusi, '94, has been hired to replace retiring Thomas J. Ramage as defensive line coach. Kaufusi, who has been a member of the University of Utah coaching staff since 1994, is returning to coach at BYU, where he lettered as a defensive lineman in 1986 and 1987.
Women's Soccer
BYU finished the 2001 season with a 14-7-1 record, a third-straight MWC crown, and a fifth-straight appearance in the NCAA tournament.
Women's Volleyball
BYU made a quick exit from the NCAA Tournament in a long and closely contested match, losing in the first round to Utah State in five games. BYU finished the season with a 20-9 record.
