HEALTH INSURANCE OFFERED BY THE ALUMNI
ASSOCATION

In response to the growing need for affordable health insurance, the BYU Alumni Association has recently announced two health insurance programs available to all BYU alumni. The programs are offered through American Insurance Administrators.

GradMed, a short-term program, was developed for the recent graduate who is no longer a dependent on his/her parents' policy and whose employer's group policy is not yet effective. The insurance bases its rates on age only, not on geographical location, unlike most medical insurance programs. It is renewable for up to 180 days, has several deductibles to choose from, and has a maternity option.

The major medical program is renewable up to age 65 and for children to age 23. It also has several deductibles to choose from and offers maternity coverage.
