BYU HOSTS TUBA FEST
ON Dec. 16, 2000, 10 BYU students gathered with about 35 other performers for the Utah TubaChristmas concert, held this year in the Wilkinson Student Center."As usual, TubaChristmas was the musical 'low point' of everyone's holiday season," said BYU music professor R. Steven Call, who teaches tuba, euphonium, and jazz studies. Though Call started the Utah version of TubaChristmas 20 years ago, BYU has hosted the concert only one other time.
