• Number of students who can take tests at the same time in the Heber J. Grant Building: 748.

 • Year the Grant Building was converted into the testing center: 1982. In 1925 the building was dedicated as BYU's library; from 1961 (when the Harold B. Lee Library was completed) until 1982 it was used to house the Life Science Museum.

 • Most tests ever given out in one day: 10,123 on June 16, 1999.

 • Most students to enter the testing center in one hour: 1,011 between 10 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 16, 1999 (491 students exited that hour).

 • Tests administered per year: More than 800,000.

 • Average time taken per test: 67 minutes (in 1999).

 • Hours of class time saved by administering tests in the testing center: More than 1 million each year.
