CAMPUS NOTE

Online Classrooms: As part of a pilot program beginning in fall 2012, full-time BYU students will be able to take 12 different GE courses, like American Heritage and college algebra, online at their leisure. The hope is that with four student-teacher videoconference checkpoints, free one-on-one tutoring, and just one deadline (the last day of the semester), the online classes will give students more flexibility—and they don’t cost extra for tuition-paying students.
