After our winter 2012 article “Budge Pudge” announced the birth of a baby in Helaman Halls, readers were quick to point out other university-housing births we missed. Among those mentioned—and there are likely more—were two to parents J. Gabriel (BS ’99) and Victoria Lidia Castaneda in their Wymount apartment. Then there was Bryant Whitney Bunnell, his middle name a nod to the hall where he was born to parents Kay (’82) and Craig M. Bunnell (BS ’84). Baby Bryant received a tiny Y sweatshirt from then-university president Jeffrey R. Holland (BS ’65).
